BTE recently completed a Community Cafe Workshop using the World Cafe Method in Peterborough County as a critical component in the development of its Active Transportation Master Plan (ATMP). The Cafe was held on March 28th in Lakefield. The event was attended by approximately 20 people and was facilitated by BTE president Steve Taylor.
Participants were asked to discuss topics related to:
- Cycling;
- Pedestrian Issues;
- Funding; and
- Tourism
Participants contributed suggestions, shared experiences and opinions on what was needed to help improve Active Transportation in Peterborough County.
